On 21 July 2018, SSA partnered with OnePeople.sg to organise a learning journey to the Harmony in Diversity Gallery (HDG) which aims to promotes an appreciation of Singapore’s rich religious diversity.
25 youths from the SSA Future Division came together to the discover the richness of Singapore’s religious diversity and commonalities. A special guided tour was arranged where the youths could learn about the harmonious co-existence of places of worship along Telok Ayer Street.
Kong Le Yiao, a 14-year old student shared her impression of the learning journey, “I enjoyed learning how religiously diverse Singapore is. It was good and informative. Through the Telok Ayer guided tour, I have learned that there are actually many religious buildings that can be found together on the same street.”
